Beijing Shaohemingdi Law Firm Awarded a Silk Banner Praising It as the “Guardian of Law Relieving People’s Worries”

A client recently presented a silk banner with words “Guardian of Law Relieving People’s Worries” on it to Shaohemingdi, to show thanks to Wang Hongzhi and Pu Jun, two of our lawyers who handled a case for her.

     The case was an intentional injury-related public prosecution-to-private prosecution case of trial of second instance. In March 2023, assigned by Beijing Legal Assistance Center to undertake the case, we arranged two experienced lawyers, namely Wang Hongzhi and Pu Jun, at the earliest time possible to handle the case. The lawyers carefully asked the client about the case, conducted analysis, examined case materials, and developed a new and objective idea for handling the case in combination with the situation and ruling of the court trial of first instance. Because the case was not tried in court again, the lawyers submitted representation in time. Although the court ruling in the trial of second instance maintained the results of the trial of first instance, the client highly recognized the professional abilities and accomplishment shown by the lawyers, thanked the lawyers for their psychological support throughout the case handling process, and said she was still confident about the future.
     To the lawyers handling the case, the silk banner presented by the client was a recognition of their efforts, and implied heavy responsibility as well. All the thanks and silk banners show clients’ trust and affirmation of our work, and serve as power driving us forward. As social lawyers, we should give full play our professional advantages, actively practice our social responsibilities and contribute our due share to legal assistance services.
